What To Bring
Anglers between 18 and 65 years of age require valid fishing license.
The Ontario Conservation License covers all species except musky. An Ontario Sport License is required for musky fishing.
Don’t forget to pack water, snacks/meals, sunscreen, and appropriate clothing.
We typically wet wade during the summer months in shorts and wading boots as the water is quite warm. Wading apparel is not provided.
Essential Safety Items
A hat and eyewear are required for all fishing. Polarized sunglasses are highly recommended and will contribute to success.
Felt or studded soled footwear is mandatory for all outings involving wading. Slick algae covered rocks make rubber soles alone dangerous. Depending on your size, we may have a loaner pair available. A cost effective alternative is a pair of running shoes combined with crampon cleats.
In our opinion, wading boots are a worthy early investment if you see yourself getting into fly fishing. We’d be happy to make some recommendations!
Safety is a priority at Courage. We can not guide anglers without the aforementioned items.
Deposits
A $150/day deposit is required to secure a booking date.
Deposits are non-refundable though 100% transferable with 14 days notice of cancellation.
Light rain or incoming pressure systems can often encourage a bite. If the weather looks like it will be unsafe or will create unproductive or unethical fishing conditions, we will work with you to re-arrange plans to ensure success and enjoyment of your day on the water.

Choose a custom package or gift voucher amount and we’ll provide you with a custom certificate to present! Your recipient will be able to choose a date that accommodates them. They may also use the allotted value for any service we offer.
