Ottawa is proud to host a strong native population of musky in many of of our local rivers with 50+ inch fish being far from uncommon. At Courage, musky is our obsession.
Our season runs from June to December and offers musky fly fishing opportunities season long. That being said, we’re not going to sugar coat it… fly fishing for musky is a taxing challenge, both physically and mentally. Targeting this species with a fly rod is, in our opinion, the most challenge freshwater angling pursuit in North America. But that’s what makes a fish landed such a tremendous accomplishment!
